Hello and welcome to the website for C W Strickland & Son Ltd!
Started in 1935 by Charles Wilfred Strickland, our company is a family-owned business and is now run by Charles' grandson and great grandsons.
We carry out electrical installation and repair work in domestic and commercial environments and have recently gained MCS approval for the installation of solar PV panels. From 2012 we will be able to do installations and repairs of air conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment!
Our company carries out electrical installation work in domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial buildings. We employ four electricians and three apprentice electricians. All have completed, or are training towards, an NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
We have a retail premises, which has recently been remodelled in keeping with the modern electrical appliances in stock. We sell large and small electrical appliances of all types and have recently begun the sale and installation of TV and audio equipment. We also repair domestic and commercial electrical appliances.
No job is too big or too small as we can do anything from changing a lamp to taking on an electrical installation contract with a value of £100,000.00.

Our skilled engineers can repair antique light fittings and bring them back to life! So don't think about getting rid of those old fittings because you can't get them working; bring them to us and we'll sort them out for you in no time!
